Counseling Services

My focus areas are trauma & PTSD and women’s issues. I also work with folks on family relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and self-esteem/body image struggles. My goal as a counselor is to assist you through a healing process that is centered on your needs, life experiences, personal growth, and individual goals. I use EMDR and trauma-focused modalities to support folks on their healing journey.

Individual Therapy Adults

Your pace: Healing happens at a pace that feels safe, comfortable, and empowering for you.

  • Exploring life’s challenges: Together, we’ll explore how past experiences and challenges have affected your life.

  • Building self-confidence: Develop greater self-assurance and reconnect with your strengths.

  • Finding peace and hope: Work toward restoring a sense of peace, hope, and emotional well-being.

  • Creating healthy patterns: Identify and build healthier ways of thinking, coping, and relating.

  • Personal growth: Rediscover confidence, nurture your strengths, and create meaningful positive change.

Trauma-Informed Approaches

Trauma-informed approach: Support healing from the impact of traumatic experiences through evidence-based approaches that address both the mind and body.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Uses guided eye movements to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional impact.

  • Somatic approaches: Use body-based techniques, such as breathwork and movement, to increase body awareness, support emotional regulation, and promote a greater sense of balance.

  • Collaborative care: Together, we’ll identify the approaches and strategies that feel right for you.

  • Meaningful change: Support emotional healing and develop tools that can contribute to lasting, positive growth.

Individual Therapy-Teens

Collaborative support: collaboration between the teen, their trusted adults, and me as their therapist.

  • Safe, non-judgmental space: An intentional environment where teens feel safe, heard, and supported.

  • Navigating challenges: Support in working through experiences and challenges such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

  • Building emotional well-being: Develop greater awareness, emotional regulation, and healthy ways to cope.

  • Discovering strengths: Identify personal strengths, resources, and qualities that can support growth.

  • Developing confidence: Build confidence and self-advocacy skills while encouraging teens to have a stronger voice in their own lives.
